LOAN OFFICER – Job Description

SUMMARY:

  • Our industry disruptive compensation plan transitions Retail Loan Officers to Independent Mortgage Brokers. Become a part of Team BendOverBackWard at EDGE Home Finance & be the low rate leader in your market with over 50 approved wholesalers and a variety of products to choose from.

  • Team BendOverBackWard shares it’s on-line generated leads for the first 120 days to get your pipeline ramped up while building other mutually beneficial business relationships, Realtor partner referrals, and Social Media sources.

  • Proactively solicit and self-source new residential mortgage loans in compliance with and to meet the company’s loan quality, client servicing, and production goals.
  • Required to conduct sales and engage in sales activities in a variety of settings.
  • Network with a collaborative lead source in the field and from home office.

MORTGAGE LOAN PROCESSOR – Job Description

SUMMARY:

  • BendOverBackWard Loan Processors are responsible for preparing and processing mortgage loans from the time of application through final approval, while maintaining contact with all internal and external parties, and receiving/reviewing all necessary documents.
  • They must work within compliance of bank, regulatory, and investor guidelines and while meeting customer service standards.
  • This position entails communication with customers, internal staff, brokers, counsel, title companies, and more while responding to inquiries, resolving issues as they arise, and obtaining all necessary paperwork.

Qualifications

Must have a current and active NMLS in good standing.

Must have current and active State Licensing in good standing.

Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university. (Preferred)

One to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience as a loan originator.

Knowledge of loan processing and closing policies, procedures, documents, underwriting requirements, governmental and agency requirements, terminology, and automated processing systems.

Thorough knowledge of credit policies and approval processes.

Able to handle a vast pipeline of loans in a challenging and fast-paced environment.
